Document File Upload Guide
ChatEaver supports direct document uploads, allowing you to ingest existing business documentation such as employee handbooks, product spec sheets, and warranty guidelines.
Supported File Formats & Limits

Step-by-Step Document Upload Procedure
Step 1: Open Dashboard > Knowledge.
Step 2: Click '+ Add Source' and select 'Document Upload'.
Step 3: Drag and drop your file into the dropzone or click to select from your computer.
Step 4: Inspect the file pre-upload checklist: verify no sensitive personal info is present.
Step 5: Click 'Upload & Index'. ChatEaver parses text and builds vector embeddings.
Step 6: Once processing status turns green ('Indexed'), click 'View Chunks' to inspect parsed text.
