Configuring AI Studio for Your Business
AI Studio is the control center for your ChatEaver assistant. Here you define how the AI presents your brand, how strictly it adheres to your knowledge base, and what actions it takes when faced with unknown questions.
Step-by-Step AI Studio Configuration
Step 1: Navigate to Dashboard > AI Studio (/dashboard/studio) from the main menu.
Step 2: Assistant Identity — Set the Assistant Name (e.g. 'Eaver Support') and Role Description ('Friendly Customer Support Agent').
Step 3: Define Tone & Style — Select a communication tone (Professional, Friendly, Concise, or Enthusiastic).
Step 4: Set System Prompt Guidelines — Write explicit rules explaining your business offerings and boundary limits.
Step 5: Configure Fallback Behavior — Specify exact text for when the AI lacks sufficient knowledge (e.g. 'I don't have that information handy, but our team can assist you directly.').
Step 6: Adjust Response Parameters — Set Model Temperature (recommended: 0.1 to 0.3 for high factual precision).
Step 7: Click Save Changes at the top right of the editor to persist your configuration.
Recommended System Prompt Template
Use this standard template as a baseline for your AI Studio instructions:
You are the official customer support assistant for [Business Name].
Answer visitor questions clearly using ONLY the context provided in your Knowledge Base.
If a question cannot be answered from the Knowledge Base, politely state that you do not have the answer and offer to connect them with a human team member.
Do not invent pricing, discounts, guarantees, or features not stated in your context.
Keep responses concise (2 to 4 sentences) unless the visitor explicitly asks for detailed instructions.
Post-Configuration Verification
Open the interactive preview widget inside AI Studio.
Ask standard questions such as 'What are your hours?' or 'How can I contact support?'.
Ask out-of-scope questions to verify that the assistant gracefully invokes your fallback response.
